I love that! I need to do this more. If I’m on the phone I use a post-it to put their name near the computer. Sometimes, I even carry little label stickers with me so that I can put a name on it when I run into someone who requests prayer, then come home and stick it on a cabinet door or inside a bathroom vanity door – somewhere I’ll see it frequently. But first, I’m going to remember to just “pray right now!”

Oh, wow! His books will make you an obsessive reader for sure – can’t put them down! When you said the missionary was John Dekker, I was thinking, no way!

Oh man, this is something I have thought about a lot lately. A lot. I needed to read your blog post on this topic. I think I’ve got to make this an active part of my life this year. My new 2012 challenge. It also moves me from my addiction to comfort and more toward actively depending on Christ—by praying right then and there with people. Thank you–TIMELY!!

oh, yes, Rebecca! I have so cherished the friends who say right away, when I call in trouble, “let me pray for you right now.” In fact, it’s been the example of those several in my life that has taught me to do the same thing when I talk with someone face to face or on the phone who needs prayer RIGHT NOW. What a blessings and a comfort for someone to pray with you right when you need it!
